N.B.: Described as a subgenus of Sitticus Simon, 1901, elevated to genus rank by Blick & Marusik, 2018: 237, synonymy of Sittipub Prószyński, 2017 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:04364], type Aranea pubescens Fabricius, 1775 (Blick & Marusik, 2018: 237); the re-synonymization with Sitticus by Breitling, 2019b: 31 is not accepted here as it is based mainly on COI (see FAQ 7).
