N.B.: described as subgenus of Lepthyphantes Menge, 1866; removed from the synonymy of Bolyphantes C. L. Koch, 1837 by Saaristo & Tanasevitch, 1996b: 175 (contra Simon, 1929: 727), but diagnostic information supplied later by Saaristo & Tanasevitch, 2000: 258.
