N.B.: replacement name for Ephippus Thorell, 1881: 643 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05619], preoccupied in Pisces by Cuvier, 1816; considered a junior synonym of Omoedus Thorell, 1881 by Zhang & Maddison, 2012b: 21 and revalidated by Prószyński, 2017b: 76; the senior (!) synonym Sinnamora Keyserling, 1883b: 1477 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05622] (type Tanypus semirasus Keyserling, 1882) was removed from the synonymy of Oemoedus to Zenodora by Prószyński, 2017b: 76 (by transfer of the type species); Sinnamora is a replacement name for Tanypus Keyserling, 1882: 1415 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05621], preoccupied in Diptera by Meigen, 1803; Zenodorus itself considered a senior synonym of Mollika G. W. Peckham & E. G. Peckham, 1901a: 303 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05620] (type Philaeus metallescens L. Koch, 1879) by Żabka, 1988: 423, 478 (Mollica is an unjustified emendation).
