N.B.: transferred from the Agelenidae to the Desidae by Lehtinen, 1967: 221; placement uncertain for Forster, 1970b: 21; transferred to the Cybaeidae by Levy, 1996: 118; regarded a a member of Desidae by Marusik & Guseinov, 2003: 31; transfer to the Amphinectidae (Murphy & Roberts, 2015: viii) not sufficiently justified and is not accepted here; the transfer to the Desidae by Zamani & Marusik, 2017: 320 was not followed, because it does not fit with the geographical range given by Wheeler et al., 2017: 608 and the subfamilies defined there; the new subfamily Cedicinae Marusik, Zonstein & Koponen, 2023: 102 (includes Cedicus, Cedicoides and Paracedicus) is transferred from the Cybaeidae to the Desidae by its authors.
