N.B.: accepted as valid by Millidge, 1984b: 237, contra Locket, Millidge & Merrett, 1974: 107, and Millidge, 1977: 43, who considered it a junior synonym of Centromerus Dahl, 1886; also the same synonymy, proposed by Breitling, 2019b: 29, is not accepted here as it is based mainly on COI (see FAQ 7) and a further splitting of the polyphyletic genus Centromerus is expected.
