N.B.: published in the index of Simon, 1873a: 11, it is presumably a lapsus for Adonea, which is described on p. 157 and missing in the index; furthermore Lehtinen, 1967: 208 listed Amathia as a synonym of Adonea; Amathia is preoccupied in Bryozoa by Lamouroux, 1812 and at least four other times (see Lehtinen, 1967: 211).
