N.B.: the synonymy of Acantholycosa with Pardosa C. L. Koch, 1847 stated by Wunderlich, 1984a: 24 has not been accepted by subsequent workers (see Buchar & Thaler, 1993: 328); the same synonymy proposed by Breitling, 2019b: 20 is not accepted as it is based mainly on COI (see FAQ 7) and a further splitting of the polyphyletic genus Pardosa is expected.
