  • It is widely assumed that most of the type material from Simon can be found in the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris, France
  • Syntype: Museum and Institute of Zoology (MIZ), Polish Academy of Science (PAN), Warsaw, Poland; 2m 8f (QR-ARA023164-023173) of Sintula simplex [N.B.: only 1m and this was chosen as lectotype by Locket & Millidge, 1967] (Wawer, 2021)
