Transfer of the former members of Neolanidae (now part of Stiphidiidae) to Amaurobiidae by Murphy & Roberts, 2015: ix not sufficiently justified and is not accepted here. After Wheeler et al., 2017: 605 Amaurobiidae includes Chummidae Jocqué, 2001 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spiderfam:0106] syn. nov. (genus Chumma) [not accepted by Jocqué & Alderweireldt, 2018: 23], Malenellinae (transferred from Anyphaenidae, genus Malenella) and Tasmarubriinae (transferred from Amphinectidae, genera Tasmarubrius, Tasmabrochus and Teeatta). Pakeha and Paravoca transferred from Amaurobiidae to Cycloctenidae and Bakala, Manjala and Poaka from Amaurobiidae to Desidae by Wheeler et al., 2017: 606.
