N.B.: removed from the synonymy of Mysmena Simon, 1894 by Saaristo, 1978: 125 (but see also Wunderlich, 2004h: 1073); considered a senior synonym of Anjouanella Baert, 1986: 265 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:00788] (type A. comorensis Baert, 1986) and of Mysmenella Brignoli, 1980j: 731 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:00803] (type Mysmena illectrix Simon, 1895) by Lopardo & Hormiga, 2015: 783 (contra Wunderlich, 2004h: 1073, who considered Mysmenella a junior synonym of Mysmena Simon, 1894).
