N.B.: transferred from the Metidae = Tetragnathidae to the Linyphiidae by Wunderlich, 1979a: 411 and Wunderlich, 1986: 119; transferred from the Linyphiidae to the Pimoidae and considered a senior synonym of Louisfagea Brignoli, 1971d: 161 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:01382] (replacement name for Metella Fage, 1931: 195 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:01388], type M. breuili Fage 1931, preoccupied in Osteichthyes by Müller, 1839, transferred from the Metidae = Tetragnathidae to the Linyphiidae by Wunderlich, 1986: 119) by Hormiga, 1993: 534; Wunderlich's (Wunderlich, 1979a: 411) synonymy of both Pimoa and Louisfagea with the fossil genus Acrometa Petrunkevitch, 1942 was rejected by Brignoli, 1979o: 36.
