Gen. Trachelas L. Koch, 1872 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:02270 ]
N.B.: the first use of this generic name, in a key by L. Koch, 1866: 2, is a nomen nudum; the name did not become available until the description of the type species by O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1872a: 256 (O. Pickard-Cambridge correctly ascribed the genus to L. Koch, and even included illustrations of the male provided by L. Koch, although he had not seen specimens of the male and did not describe that sex); more intensively described by L. Koch, 1872c: 146; transferred from the Corinnidae to the Trachelidae by Ramírez, 2014: 342.
