N.B.: transferred from the Ctenizidae to the Halonoproctidae by Godwin et al., 2018: 307; Ummidia is the type genus of the subfamily Ummidiinae (see Ortiz, 2007: 395); considered a senior synonym of Pachylomerides Strand, 1934: 273 [] by Roewer, 1955c: 1715; Pachylomerides is a replacement name for Pachylomerus Ausserer, 1871a: 145 [] (type P. glaber Doleschall, 1871), preoccupied in Coleoptera by Bertolini, 1849; considered a senior synonym of Sterrhochrotus Simon, 1892a: 97 [] (type Cteniza ferghanensis Kroneberg, 1875) by Decae et al., 2019: 519 (by transfer of the type species), rejecting the synonymy with Cteniza Latreille, 1829, considered by Raven, 1985a: 159; Conothele Thorell, 1878 is considered indistinguishable from Ummidia by Decae, 2010: 329.
